What kind of computer does Lumion need?

1. You will need:
A modern computer with a fast graphics card.
Internet access.

3. Recommended System Requirements. Please go to Lumion’s website for the requirement. Lumion has been upgraded in every version on it’s requirement.
| Graphics card | Minimum 8,000 PassMark points with 6GB memory or more, compatible with DirectX 11 or later and with the latest driver installed. Rendering movies in 4K resolution (3840×2160) requires a minimum of 6GB dedicated graphics card memory. Please note that Lumion does not run any faster with 2 graphics cards. | CPU (Processor) | As high a base and boost GHz value as possible, ideally 4.0+ GHz base/boost speed with 4 cores or more. A lower GHz value may act as a bottleneck for fast graphics cards such as the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti and RTX 2080 Ti. More CPU cores than 4 will not make a difference. CPUs such as the i7-9700K or the i7-8700K with 4.0+ GHz are good choices. Xeon CPUs with less than 3.4 GHz boost speed are not recommended. |

Do we have the freedom to create similar scene as you depicted with your tutorial example images using different objects and positions?
In my case I went ahead and created a different front yard scene using different objects. However, I still used what is needed for this assignment.
A:
Absolutely YES! Be creative!
Lumion is about creativity, not about technical precision. Typically I will give you more instructions in the first few assignments, and almost no instruction in the final assignment.
Q:
Do you encourage exploration and developing new techniques in Lumion?
A:
Absolutely. I know that we can make better rendering in Lumion. Even better than the one on Lumion’s website.
Q:
Is Lumion 10 better than it’s predecessors?
A:
Yes. Many improvement.
Q:
Is Lumion 10 rendered better than other renderers on the market like Vray, Corona, or Enscape.
A:
Best or better is an adjective that is out of the place in this day and age. All of the above mentioned renderers all have their niche in their prospective markets.
